We do this through our unique 'New-Condition' Coverage, which covers up to the first 12 months of a new illness or injury. This is typically when there are higher costs due to the initial diagnosis and treatment of the illness or injury.
If the diagnosed illness or injury ends up being a chronic condition or requires further treatment in the policy year following when the condition was identified, we believe pet owners will be in a better position to budget for the ongoing care.
